The Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation is a registered charitable trust that raises funds for projects to improve the comfort and welfare of patients and their families at Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Wellington Children's Hospital and the Kapiti Health Centre.

Fantastic Job
Our hospitals and staff do a fantastic job and people often want to show their support by giving a donation that will make a difference for future patients and their families. Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation provides an avenue to make those donations work for our community. People who spend time in hospital or with a health service are sometimes able to see where there could be improvements or assistance to make treatment more comfortable. Funding from the Foundation will be used to accomplish those improvements – the things that add that little extra.
Mission
The Foundation’s mission is to involve our communities in our hospitals and health services and the challenge for the Foundation is to raise sufficient funds each year to enable the Foundation to provide for those “extra projects” that are not funded by the Government.
Official Fundraiser
The Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation is the official fundraiser for the hospitals and health services within the Capital & Coast Health District. The Foundation is a community initiative and is a completely separate entity from the District Health Board.
Our hospitals belong to you – your support of the Foundation gives you an opportunity to make a difference.
