Our Foundation Hospital Volunteers, now numbering 402, have been recognised by the City as the winner of the Wellington Airport Community Awards - Health and Wellbeing Category.

This is fantastic recognition for all our volunteers who average 63,000 volunteer hours for our hospital each year.

Our volunteers include the Pink Ladies, Hospital guides, Library, Ward volunteers, Piano players and musicians, ED Volunteers, Hospital Shop, Knitters, Seweres and Quilters, Pet Therapists, Kilbirnie Hydrotherapy Pool, Volunteers in Children's Hospital, ICU, Events, Corporate Volunteers, Kenepuru Rehab Unit.

Thank you and big congratulations to all our wonderful volunteers, and volunteer managers, Trish Lee and Louise Foote.
