No. We support every department within Capital & Coast District Health Board, which covers Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Kapiti Health Centre and Wellington Children's Hospital.
Does Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation work directly with the medical staff?
Yes we do. We are often approached by Clinicians to fund additional equipment, items or research grants for their areas that fall outside of Government funding.
Does Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation receive funding from the Government?
No we don't. All of our funding comes from individuals, organisations, trusts and businesses within the community. For a list of our supporters, please see here.
Does Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation have high operational costs?
No we don't. We are very lucky to have accommodation within Wellington Hospital so we do not need to rent any office space and our staff costs are covered by another organisation.
