Hutt City Carols By Candlelight

Nick Tansley's Carols by Candlelight will be held at the Hutt Recreation Ground in Lower Hutt this year.

The iconic event will feature a uniquely Lower Hutt feel while incorporating features that have made the event a household name in Wellington City.

Lower Hutt Mayor Ray Wallace is excited about bringing Carols by Candlelight to the city for the first time and is looking forward to seeing the Hutt Rec come alive with Christmas spirit.

"Carols by Candlelight is a well known, fantastic family event, and we are privileged to be able to host it for 2011 right here in Lower Hutt," he says.

Host Nick Tansley is a Foundation Ambassador and is looking forward to bringing Candles by Candlelight to Lower Hutt.

Your Voluntary Gold Coin donation at the gates and any Glow Sticks you purchase at the event from our Volunteers, will go directly to help sick kids in Hutt Hospital's children's wards over Christmas.
