Wellington Hospital

The Material Art Show is a showcase of exquisite, hand-made quilts, knitted baby clothes and Christmas stockings.

All items are for sale and can be donated back to the Hospital for use in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  All items are hand-made by Volunteers and are for sale with funds raised to support sick children and premature babies at Wellington Children's Hospital.

Gala Evening

Thursday 24 November, 6.30pm

At The Atrium, Wellington Hospital

The evening includes canapés, refreshments and entertainment.

4xTango 'The Little New Zealand Tango Orchestra' will be performing on the night following their outstanding performance at The Tango Ball hosted by the Embassy of Argentina during the Rugby World Cup.

A great evening for supporters of the Children's Hospital, quilt lovers and art admirers.  All quilts will go on sale at the Gala Evening so make sure you are there to have first pick of these amazing works of art!   

Many long hours have gone into producing the quilts and no two are alike.   Even if you don't take one home, you will be amazed at the detail, skill and variety we have on show.
