The PM John Key was made an Honary Hospital Volunteer at the Foundation’s recent Charity Dinner. The PM was guest speaker and the evening was a fantastic event and raised funds for Wellington Children’s Hospital Redevelopment Appeal. Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation were delighted to donate six new mattresses for the parent rest rooms in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The matressses were made possible through the Fresh Future Appeal which is run by Woolworth’s and Countdown Supermarkets for Wellington Children’s Hospital each year.

Mothers in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Wellington Hospital were delighted to receive individual hand made quilts as personal gifts this Mother's Day.
The children, along with some guardians, Nurse Dhevindri and Maria Quigley from Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation, met early in the morning at the Children's Hospital to be driven by Hospital Transport volunteers Brian and Ray, to the Air Force base at Wellington Airport.
