Stained Glass Windows in New Hospital Chapel

Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation have assisted the funding of the restoration and re-installation of the original stained glass windows in the new Wellington Hospital Chapel. The windows have been a treasured feature of the hospital since their installation between 1965-85 in the original Nurses Memorial Chapel. Each window was generously donated by individuals and organisations, and it is great to see these wonderful windows continuing to provide a beautiful and symbolic backdrop for a special place of reflection, worship, and relaxation.

The Foundation is incredibly grateful for Kirkcaldie and Stains and the Rotary Club of Wellington combined efforts to raise $35,000 for Wellington Children's Hospital. This generous donation will help us to continue to make a difference in the lives of our sick kids.

Piano Brings Tunes of Comfort to Wellington Hospital

A beautiful white baby grand piano was generously donated by Community Trust of Wellington. Located in the atrium of Wellington Hospital, and played by a number of talented volunteers, the piano has been a great asset towards making hospital visits more comfortable and relaxing. The peaceful music which drifts through the hospital has been a great success with patients, visitors, and staffs.
