This morning the Managing Director of Progressive Enterprises, Peter Smith, presented the Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation a cheque for $210,947.80.

These funds will go towards a New Acute Assessment and Short Stay Unit at Wellington Children’s Hospital.

The unit will be known as the Fresh Future Acute Assessment Unit. Now now funds have been received, plans will be drawn up and development underway.

This has been a great exercise by the supermarkets and on behalf of Sick Kids everywhere, we say THANK YOU.
