Special Projects

To support our year long volunteer programmes in the hospitals, every so often there are also some special occassions that make an extra-special difference.

MUSICIANS

The Community Trust of Wellington enabled the Foundation to purchase a baby grand piano for Wellington Hospital's atrium.  Volunteers play the piano every day, to the great delight of patients and visitors.

Mothers with newborn babies in Wellington Hospital's NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and in Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals Delivery Suites on Mothers Day receive a special handmade baby quilts from the Foundation's Volunteer Quilters to take home and keep.
